Exports from Ukraine to Turkey exceeds thrice the imports
By results of 2015, exports from Ukraine to Turkey accounted in 2.8 bln USD, while imports totaled only in 0.8 bln USD. Thus, the positive trade balance was 2 bln USD. For comparison, in the trade with the EU, the trade balance was negative and amounted to - 2.5 bln USD in 2015.

29% of small farms cultivate land by horses
According to the State Agency of Statistics, 29.2% of small agricultural households used horses for land cultivation in 2015. Only 17% of agricultural households had at least some kind of agricultural machinery, the third of them had tractors, 4.6% of them had automobile transport, and 2.3% of them had harvesters.

Production of frozen beef has increased more than two times
According to the State Agency of Statistics, in January, industrial production of frozen beef amounted to 0.8 ths tons that is more than two times more than similar indexes of 2015. Production of frozen chicken has increased by 86% up to 19.8 ths tons.

Business climate in the agricultural sector has worsened significantly
In February 2016 agriculture business climate in Ukraine, evaluated by agriculture producers, was again poor; even worse than during recent survey, implemented in November 2015. Major hampering factors for business development are seen again in the lack of state support for agriculture as well as in the economic framework and the general policy situation. In light of this agriculture business index deteriorated significantly. - These are the results of the third survey on Agriculture Business Index (ABI) implemented jointly by German-Ukrainian Agriculture Policy Dialogue (APD) and business association "Ukrainian Agribusiness Club" (UCAB).

Ukraine if the sixth among milk powder exporters
According to the State Committee of Statistics, in 2015 Ukraine has exported almost 37 th t of milk powder, which is 25% more than in 2014. Thus, Ukraine placed sixth among world exporters of skimmed milk powder (source: USDA). The list is headed by the European Union, the United States, and New Zealand.

Production of rapeseed oil grew up by 53%
In 2015 in Ukraine, it was produced 148 th t of rapeseed oil that on 53% exceeds its production in 2014, and the whole rapeseed oil produced was exported.
