China forecasts a decrease in soybean imports
China National Grain and Oils Information Center (CNGOIC) predicted on Tuesday that the country's soybean imports in October will fall by less than two million tons from the previous month and may make a record monthly low since September of 2007.

Russia decreases grain export volumes
Despite the tendency of the seasonal growth of exports compared to July indices (growth totaled 35%), according to preliminary data, in August 2009, the general volume of grain export supplies totaled nearly 1.7-1.8 mln tonnes, down 24-28% compared to the indices of August 2008.
