As of Jan-Jul, agrarians raised grapes average sale price to UAH2,035 per MT
Within Jan-Jul 2009 all kinds property agricultural companies (except small-scale ones) sold grapes at average UAH2,035 per MT, up UAH78 per MT (+ 4%) against Jan-Jul 2008, reported State Statistics Committee.

Within Jan-Jul 2009 agricultural companies have raised vegetables sales to 223,325 MT, up 69,811 MT (+ 45.5%) against Jan-Jul 2008, reported State Statistics Committee.

Belarus has the real possibility to supply nearly 100 thsd tonnes of milling rye and 25 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat on foreign markets, declared Vasiliy Sedin, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, the director of the department of bakery products, on September 1. Belarusian universal commodity exchange has already received 60 thsd tonnes of rye for trading operations.

India buys 900,000 tonnes Brazilian raw sugar
India, the world's largest sugar importer, is estimated to have bought 900,000 tonnes of raw sugar from Brazil over the last three weeks, but the latest rally in New York has blunted its appetite, Jonathan Kingsman, head of the Kingsman brokerage, said on Monday.

EU wheat slips
Wheat prices in major west European markets slipped in late trade as a fall in Chicago wheat and bearish sentiment about heavy supplies offset spillover support from surging soybean prices, traders said. Euronext operators remained bearish about wheat in view of a bumper harvest and uncertain export demand.
