Peas record yields expected in Ukraine
752 k tons – projected yield of peas in 2016 doubling the result of preceding year. Yielding rate’s rise caused by an increase of sowing areas by 42% and notable yielding rates in 3.16 tons per ha comparing to 2.14 tons in previous year.
Sowing areas increase has took place due to shortening of 2016 harvest winter crops’ in compilation of picking peas’ prices on Ukrainian market. At the same time, auspicious weather condition has provided required cultivation quality for yielding growth. 2016 year’s yield is 15 years story record.
