Ukrainian government to regulate sunseed prices
In the nearest future, the Ministry Cabinet of Ukraine plans to include sunseed in the list of the price regulated objects, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on November 5.
The minimum sunseed prices will be able to total 1.650-1.700 UAH/t, which nearly totals the level of average prime cost of sunflower production.
In October, Ukraine exported 141.000 tonnes of sun oil and the average price of exported product totaled 1.000 – 1.050 USD/t, according to the Ministry.
