Ukraine will not buy up import agricultural equipment
The Industrial Policy Ministry has not agreed an initiative of the Agrarian Policy Ministry regarding the purchase of import farming machinery and equipment that are not produced in Ukraine and purchased by the agrarians through a mechanism of easing of credits.
A decision to this effect was made after consideration of the Cabinet draft resolution that endorses a list of such machinery and equipment, press-service of the Industrial Policy Ministry reported.
The ministry notes that this draft document conflicts with the Ukrainian legislation on encouraging the domestic machine-building for agroindustrial sector and expanding the home market.
The ministry also says that it receives proposals from farming machinery companies on the possibility to release the equipment that is inscribed into the list.
