Ukraine overfulfills sowing plan
Grain crops and leguminous cultures are sown by all categories of economies in Ukraine on 7.587 million ha, 102% of the forecast, UKRINFORM reports with reference to the Agricultural Policy Ministry.
Thus, corn for grain was sown on 2.313 million ha (96% от прогноза). Buckwheat was sown on the area of 255 thousand ha (93%). Millet was sown on 110 thousand ha, 81% of the plan.
In addition, sunflower was sown on the area of 3.853 million ha (110%), soya was sown on 591 thousand ha (104%).
