Ukraine: low quality of sunflower in Crimea
According to the polling of agricultural producers, realized by APK-Inform Agency, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea faced the decrease of qualitative indices of sunflower seed of the new crop.
Agrarians declared about the presence of large number of hollow-centered oilseeds, and the reduction of oil content of sunflower. According to agricultural producers, draughty weather during the period of sunflower vegetation caused the development of such situation.
As a reminder, the long-continued draught caused the decrease of sunflower yield to the level of 9 c/ha.
