Ukraine increased sun oil exports by 70% in October
In October, 2008, Ukraine exported 141.000 tonnes of sun oil, up 70% from September and up 3% from October, 2007, reported the Customs Service Committee to APK-Inform agency.
The five leaders among importers of Ukrainian sunflower oil are France (19.000 tonnes), the Netherlands (19.000 tonnes), Egypt (18.000 tonnes), Turkey (17.000 tonnes) and Italy (12.000 tonnes).
In general, for 2 months of 2008/09 MY Ukraine exported 224.000 tonnes of this produce, up 7% from the same index of the last season.
