Ukraine gathers record amount of milling wheat
This year, Ukraine has gathered a record amount of milling wheat, New World Grain Ukraine director Mykola Horbachov said this at an international conference in Kyiv.
"Ukraine this year has harvested 20 million tons of wheat and most of it is milling wheat. This is a watershed year for the country," Horbachev emphasized.
A reminder that in previous years due to the bad weather conditions, wheat was mostly fodder, as a result, farmers receive less profits.
