Ukraine: first million tonnes of grain was harvested
As of June 30, the first million tonnes of grain was harvested in Ukraine, reported Yuriy Melnik, Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
According to him, the harvesting campaign proceeds in eight oblasts of Ukraine and in Crimea. Curently, the area of 340.000 ha was harvested and the average crop productivity totaled 32 c/ha.
