Ukraine and Hungary Cooperate on Biofuels
Ukraine and Hungary have signed a cooperation agreement on the production of biofuels in the two countries.
The two countries have agreed to cooperate on plant growing and seed farming for biodiesel and bioenergy production.
The move is expected to boost production in both eastern European countries.
The agreement was signed during a state visit by Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko to Hungary.
Last year Hungary produced 186,000 tonnes of biodiesel and 150 million litres of ethanol.
