Borsch basket’s price lowered by 16%
Cabbage, onion, beet, carrot and potatoes’ prices have decreased by 16% in average from early August to 13.98 UAH of borsch basket index value. Major decrease of prices devoted to beets – 35%, carrot’s prices lowered by 21%, price of cabbage has increased by 3% due to early harvested yields’ narrowing supply volumes.
Vegies prices’ downshift from early August is a seasonal phenomenon and devoted to mass harvest of vegetables in Ukraine causing new high supplies. Ground level of prices may have place at the beginning of September.
