Farmers received UAH 400 million of agrarian subsidies in July
Тhe State Fiscal Service of Ukraine published the data on the recipients of subsidies for July 2017, according to which the farmers received UAH 400 million.
Myronivsky Hliboproduct enterprises continue to be a leader in the received subsidies and got UAH 132 million, however, they received less than in the previous months - one third of the total amount for July.
“At a press conference on 31 August, we promised to monitor the situation with payment of state subsidies. We predicted that in the 3rd quarter, agrarian enterprises would start selling their products and respectively, the income to enterprises would be aligned. And these forecasts were fully justified,”- commented Taras Vysotskyi, General Director of the Association “Ukrainian Agribusiness Club”.
In total, 789 legal entities received the subsidies in July and 1215 from the beginning of the year. The total amount of payments was UAH 2.315 billion.
Recall that in 2017 for the first time in history the state began to pay special budget subsidies for agriculture. It was introduced at the end of 2016 and provides for subsidy which is directly proportional to the amount of VAT that is paid to the budget.
