Spring crops sown on 7.493mln ha
In Ukraine, spring grain crops and leguminous cultures are sown on 7.493 million ha, 101% of the forecast, UKRINFORM reports with reference to the Agricultural Policy Ministry.
Corn for grain is sown on 2.279 million ha (95% оf the forecast). Buckwheat is sown on 236 thousand ha (87%). Millet is sown on 99.7 thousand ha, 73% оf the plan.
In addition, sugar beet is sown on the area of 333.1 thousand ha (95% оf the plan), sunflower seeds - on 3.744 million ha (107%), soya is sown on 579 thousand ha (102%).
