The farm machinery market continues to grow
The market of self-propelled machinery - tractors, combines, sprayers, has continued its growth in 2017. For January-September in Ukraine those types of cars were sold more than for all last year. The Southern regions of Ukraine, as well as Vinnytsia, Poltava and Kirovograd regions, became the leaders for the purchases this year. In general, the market of self-propelled agricultural machines reached the pre-crisis indicators of 2011-2012.
The growth occurred in all segments of self-propelled agricultural machinery. During the 9 months of this year, Ukrainian farmers purchased 2300 tractors of different capacities, while for the same period last year this figure amounted to 1,400 units. 170 units of self-propelled sprayers were sold that is twice more than last year. Sales of combines this year also grew: grain-harvesting combines - by 20% (960 units), fodder harvesting - by 30% (13 units).
