The value of Kernel Company increased the most (+ USD 727.5 million), in particular due to the fact that in January 2017 the company released Eurobonds to the amount of USD 500 million. The market value of shares of agricultural holdings ‘Astarta’ (+ USD 218.9 million) and ‘MHP’ (+ USD 104.6 million) increased as well.
Rising cost of the Ukrainian agricultural companies is a result of their profitable operation within the past three years and is associated with the relative stabilization of macroeconomic situation in the country. If these conditions are maintained, further growth of the companies’ value can be expected in the future.
