NIBULON gets another 3 vessels for own fleet
Wadan Yards Okean (Mykolayiv) has today launched another three non-self-propelled dry-cargo river-sea ships produced by order of NIBULON Agricultural Limited Liability Company. NIBULON thus already has four barges.
The company started implementing in 2009 an investment project on creating own fleet having invested USD 150 million for that.
NIBULON, which had earlier brokered a deal with Wadan Yards Okean to build 24 barges, is planning to place stake on the development of the transportation service along the Dnieper under the flag of Ukraine. The type of the barges will let carry grain along the Danube and in the coastal Black Sea zone and along the Caspian Sea as well.
The project is designed to unload Ukraine's arterial road having solved logistics problems of farmers from Cherkasy, Poltava, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions through which the Dnieper traffic center runs. This will also link them with neighboring regions.
