Minimum retail prices for cognac increased
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved of increasing the retail price for cognac. The minimum retail price for three-year old cognac is set at UAH 26.36 (EUR 2.11 USD 3.10) per 0.5 litre, four-year old UAH 29.34, five-year old UAH 33.34 per 0.5 litre. Market insiders have supported the government's move. According to them, it is aimed to protect the interests of the national cognac industry and fair producers.
