Latvia wants to process its milk in Belarus
Latvia is interested in processing its milk at Belarusian enterprises. The matter has been discussed at the meeting of Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov with Latvia’s Minister of Agriculture Janis Duklavs and Latvian businessmen, Belarus Radio reports referring to the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce press service.
As to report, the Latvian delegation came to Belarus to discuss a possibility to process Latvian milk at Belarusian enterprises and to supply finished products of Latvian processing companies to the Belarusian market. The participants agreed on conducting a series of additional meetings between representatives of Belarusian and Latvian dairy businesses in Vitebsk Oblast and Mogilev Oblast. These meetings will be arranged to discuss the details of cooperation, like prices, quality, transportation and logistics and supply terms. As to press service, the parties agreed to keep expanding the bilateral cooperation in trade and economy and to strengthen contacts between Belarusian and Latvian businessmen.
