Landkom publishes its financial results for H1 2009
The agroindustrial company Landkom International has informed that it completed H1 2009 with dead loss USD 16.61mn (EUR 11.36mn), down 13.3% against the same period in 2008. Gross loss dropped 5.2%, to USD 11.06mn, operating by 20.4%, to USD 16.59mn. The company's income rose 4.9 times, to USD 1.86mn. Amount of free funds fell from USD 4.23mn to USD 0.54mn through January-June 2009. The company has no debt obligations. The company's land bank decreased from 115,000 to 65,930 hectares. In the future, it is planned to fall to 50,000 hectares.
Vitaliy Skotsik was appointed the new executive director of the company. He will combine the position with the position of the director of the company AMACO Ukraine specialising in supply of agricultural equipment.
