GDP will be 3.7%, inflation 9.7% in 2010 - economics minister
In preparation of the state budget 2010, the government determined main forecast indexes of the GDP growth at 3.7%, inflation - 9.7%, Economics Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn has informed.
He said that these figures were adjusted by the government's economic bloc with the IMF consultants following a joint analysis of the world and domestic trends of the economic development.
He also said the producers' price index is expected at 113.6% in 2010.
In addition, it was adjusted with the IMF consultants that a work efficiency growth is expected in Ukraine at approximately 4%, increase of export volumes - by 9.5%, imports - by 6.3%.
Danylyshyn noted that the government expects that a positive foreign trade balance can be reached in 2010.
The government plans to approve macroeconomic indexes and the draft state budget for 2010 at a special Cabinet's meeting on September 12, in order to submit on September 15 the draft document for consideration of the Verkhovna Rada.
