Export of vegetable oils almost doubled in May
In May 2008, export of vegetable oils and fractions almost doubled - to 68.000 tonnes. The share of sun oil covered 82% in the total volume of oil shipments, palm oil - 15%.
Sun oil export in May totaled 55.800 tonnes against 14.000 tonnes in April and 198.000 tonnes in May of last year.
In total, during nine months of 2007/08 MY, Ukraine exported 1.065 mln tonnes of sun oil, down 25% as compared to the same period last season.
