Exports of bakery products from Ukraine decreased by 42%
According to the State Statistics Service, in 2015 exports of bakery products from Ukraine amounted to $128 mln. That is by 42% less than in 2014 ($221 mln.).
The loss of Russian market and complication of deliveries to other CIS countries are the reasons for such decrease. Thus, in 2014 the Russian Federation was the major importer of these products from Ukraine with the volume of imports of $46 mln. However during January-November 2015 supplies of bakery goods to Russia constituted only $1.4 mln. During the same period exports of bakery products to Kazakhstan decreased by $16.2 mln. to $32.6 mln., to Belarus - by $7.8 mln. to $11.9 mln, to Moldova - by $5.5 mln. to $12.4 mln.
