Draft Treaty on Eurasian Economic Union discussed in Moscow
The article of the draft Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), related to industrial subsidies, was discussed at the meeting between Minister for Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission Sergei Sidorsky, Industry Ministers of Belarus and Kazakhstan Dmitry Katerinich and Asset Issekeshev, and Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov in Moscow.
The meeting focused on Article XIX, Industry, of the draft Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union and industrial subsidies. The parties also discussed issues related to differences in the conditions of setting up industrial assembling plants on the territory of the Customs Union member states.
«As for the state support of the industry in the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, the participants of the meeting decided to continue the talks at the level of the authorized deputy ministers of industry and economy of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia in Astana on 3 March 2014,» the EEU press service said.
