Agro business needs land strategy vision – UCAB
During planned six months law act draft on agro land market issues has not been registered in parliament.
Association “Ukrainian Club of Agricultural Business” (UCAB) has requested information from the government about implemented actions which have been directed on adoption of law act №767-VIII «About changes to X chapter “Transition conditions” of Land Code of Ukraine concerning ban on trade deals with agro lands”.
It is noted in the request letter of the Association than the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was authorized to develop and submit to the parliament the law act draft on agro land market. Nevertheless, according with official information of the parliament, the law draft was not registered.
“In the November 2015 the parliament has adopted the law act which commits the government to develop and submit the law act draft on issues concerning agro land market to the parliament. Today the final decision framework is not the top issue for agro entities in Ukraine, along with, business needs a long-term vision of Ukrainian state on economic activities in sphere of agro land. Clear long-term perspectives vision on agro land management will help to the business in development of its operations forecasting, plus, this will be a positive marker for international financial markets”, UCAB General Director, Taras Vysotskyi has said.
