According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, at the beginning of September 2015 the population of sheep and goats in Ukraine totaled 1,67 mln heads, which is 5,4% less than the corresponding figures of the previous year.

Banks increased agricultural financing
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of the beginning of August 2015 enterprises of the agricultural sector of Ukraine were granted loans worth USD 54,5 bln, which is USD 2 bln more than during the same period in 2014.
