Russia. RGU supports imposition of 10% import duties for soybeans

Throughput of Illichivsk Sea Commercial Port (Ukraine) Down 14.5%
In January-August 2009, Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk (Ukraine) handled 10.939 million tonnes of cargo (-14.5%, year-on-year), the state companys administration informs. In August of the current year the company decreased cargo transshipment by 13%, year-on-year, to 1.502 million tonnes.

Milk Alliance plans no acquisitions
Sergei Vovchenko, CEO of Milk Alliance, says the company plans its domestic sales to reach the level of foreign sales to minimize the negative impact of import restrictions in the countries where it supplies its products like Russia and Belarus.
