III British Ukrainian Agribusiness Forum

British Embassy Kyiv, jointly with the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club and Baker Tilly, is pleased to invite you to the British Ukrainian Agribusiness Forum “Agribusiness of tomorrow: investment in profitability” to be held as part of the VII international Grain Tech Expo, on 16 Feb 2017, 09.30-16.30, Kyiv Expo Plaza, Kyiv (Hall 1, conference hall 4). European Business Association is the information partner of the event.

The Forum, involving leading British, Ukrainian and international agribusinesses, will focus on the following topics:

• Crop production: extra margins from efficient management
• Animal production extra margins from efficient management

Mark Jarman, Senior Earth Observation Specialist, Satellite Applications Catapult, leading expert in the commercial exploitation of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and satellite technologies for precision farming applications. Mark will feature as one of the keynote speakers of the event, focussing on British best practice and innovative UAV technologies in farm management, how they  can become an integral or ‘invisible’ precision farming technology exploitable by different users across the agricultural sector.

Dr Simon Doherty, Animal Science & Aquaculture Specialist for the UK Government’s Agri-Tech Organisation, Senior Vice-President of the North of Ireland Veterinary Association (NIVA) and Northern Ireland Branch of the British Veterinary Association (BVA), will present the Best British practices on farm biosecurity.

Mike Button, Coventry Chemicals, Bsc  hons. VetSc. NDP., Coventry Chemicals Ltd., will present on "Importance of Bio-security for Pigs and Cattle"  and Bio-security plan during disease outbreak.

Baker Tilly experts together with partners will present ways to increase oilseeds profitability.
