State Land Bank to start working in October

Farmers harvest over 13.3 million tons of grain - Agriculture Ministry

Government considers important for agricultural producers to receive adequate price for grain - Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry
Supply of grain increased on the domestic market of Ukraine during the harvesting period. In order not to allow an artificial drop of prices, the Agrarian Fund continues to purchase grain from farmers. In addition, before harvesting of the new yield, grain carry over stocks have been actively exported abroad. So, there are no grounds for the fall of prices for grain crops.

About half of Agribusiness in Ukraine is engaged in growing grain crops
Since the beginning of the year more than 2.5 million (2683) business entities engaged in agricultural activities have been registered in Ukraine. These are 1161 legal entities and 1522 person-entrepreneurs, Government Portal reports referring to the director of the Department of State Registration of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs Olexandr Barbelyuk.

Harvested crops reach about 12 million tons - Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry
In Ukraine, as of July 9, 11.85 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were thrashed with the average crop capacity of 26.8 centners/ha. The press service of the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine told Ukrinform about this.
