Farm produce up in Ukraine
The gross output of Ukraine's farm produce in January - August 2009 increased by 0.4% from the like 2008 period, the State Statistics Committee says.
The highest production growth was reported from Ivano-Frankivsk (15.3%), Lviv (12.7%), Khmelnytskyi (12.7%) and Ternopil (12.6%) regions.
Production decline was reported from Luhansk (12.7%), Odesa (12.2%), Kirovohrad (11.9%), Zaporizhzhia (11.7%) and Kharkiv (11.3%) regions.
