Russia exported nearly 9.8 mln tonnes of grains during 8 months of 2009
According to the Federal customs service of the Russian Federation, during January-August of 2009, Russia exported 9.76 mln tonnes of wheat and meslin at the general sum of 1.61 bln USD, an increase of 2.5 times compared to the same period of the previous year.

Agrarian fund exports 0.5mln tons of grain

Danosha launches pig farm for 15,000 heads
A pig complex for 15,000 heads has been built in Luka of the Ivano-Frankovsk region. Danosha, a company with a 100% Dutch capital, is the investor. Cost of the project amounted to about UAH 60mn (EUR 4.86mn USD 7.08mn). Modern equipment was installed at the complex. Also, the latest waste utilization technology are used.
